MSHA today issued a confined space hazard alert. While almost everyone in industry has heard of the term “Confined Space”, they are not always easily identified as being hazardous. A perfect example of a non-traditional confined space – one that took a miners life almost exactly one year ago – was a loader tire inside a truck shop. The fatal gram can be viewed here.
