Since summer is here, MSHA has been promoting its Stay out Stay Alive Program. The purpose of the program is to alert the general public about the dangers of abandoned and active quarries. Parents are encouraged to remind their children of the dangers involved including abandoned equipment, cold and deep water, and unstable ground conditions. Stay out and Stay Alive!!
